I picked up some of My Mind's Eye new Quite Contrary line last week and I kept pulling it out, but couldn't come up with any ideas of what to do with it. Well, over the last few days I finally started cutting it up. So far I've done three layouts and two cards (they are the same as one is being given in a card swap).
I started with this layout about Tess who is our eternal bit of happiness:
Then I made another for Tess using a beautiful photo from my sister's wedding (photo credit to Kira Nelson photography 2009 copyright) focusing on her lovely curls:
I sat and stared at this layout for a couple of nights and was not inspired to do anything else with it. I'm pretty sure it's the simplest fastest layout I've ever done. Morgan was learning to hula hoop:
And the card I whipped up with these papers.
I also pulled out an old Autumn Leaves paper to make this card for a friend who thanked me for helping her to turn her lemons into lemonade (stamp is Stampin' Up):
I've got the bug to scrap again, but I need to take a night off or my husband will think I've deserted him.
