Project 12 - March and Christmas in April

April 20th came awfully quickly and I didn't manage to get my Project 12 layout for March done until this past weekend, but I'm still caught up and am happy with the results. I didn't have many photos from March, but I had enough to do this layout. You can see the sketches and the Project 12 details here at the Scrapbook & Cards Today website/blog.

Supplies used: Bazill and Coredinations cardstock; My Mind's Eye patterned paper, stickers and bird; Basic Grey brads; American Crafts Thickers; Making Memories mini alphas; and Stampin' Up glitter.

I'm really eager to get my April photos printed so I can do the next layout.

One of my goals is to create an album of our family's Christmases. I want a double page layout for every year that will be in chronological order to see what tradtitions we acquire, gifts we got, decorations we had, events we attended. I wanted to start the year Morgan was born, so we've had 6 Christmas, I think I now have three done. I need to catch up. I quickly put together 2009 over the weekend using a sketch from Scrapbooks Etc. I find double page layouts challenging, so I use a sketch to get me started and it makes it less of a challenge to get these done.

Supplies used: Bazzil cardstock; My Mind's Eye patterned paper; Basic Grey Chipboard alphas; misc eyelets; Making Memories holly leaves/berries; and Fontwerks label stickers.
