National Scrapbooking Day (aka NSD)

Well if you are like me, the kids are in bed, the sun is setting and you are tired from a busy full day. Maybe you were lucky to get to spend your day in your scrap room celebrating NSD. But not me, it's rare that I get the opportunity to scrap during the day, so doing any today was unlikely, but I'm considering pulling out some stuff to work on tonight. It's the evenings when the house if finally quiet enough and the dining room table is no longer needed that I can pull out some paper and photos and get creative. And who knows it might not even happen until tomorrow night, as I'm feeling a little spent already.

So in honor of NSD, I decided to do a little give away on my blog, but because I didn't really have time to celebrate today...I'm extending NSD to NSW (National Scrapbooking Week).  That gives you a week to leave me gobs of comments on my blog and become a follower. What's in it for you? I know you were wondering because us scrapbookers like a little reward for taking the time out of our paper playing and reading those blogs...

I'll have a Rockin' RAK for the winner!

Chosen randomly from those that comment on today's post (anytime before Friday, May 7th) and any other post you happen to like, but you must also become a follower too. I'll post the winner on Saturday, May 8th.

Don't worry it'll be good, but it's a surprise!

Also if you haven't had a chance to check out the new THE INSPIRED SCRAPPER blog (we moved from Typepad to Blogger),  I highly recommend you make a visit over there for a little lovin' from the DT, plus an oppotunity for you to join us on the DT too, that's right we're looking for a couple more inspired scrappers.

I'll leave you with a few  of my scrappy creations from when I started 4 years ago.

I remember doing this layout and having no idea how to use raw chipboard, so I just left it plain.

I loved American Crafts and this was a kit from Pick of the Patch (no longer an on-line store, but still a brick and mortar here in town). Still love to handcut things.

I went a little circle crazy on this one, but using one of my fav manufacturers ever...Scenic Route (so sad they are no longer around).

And even a two pager. Lovin' those paint splatters aren't you?

Thanks for stopping by...Happy Scrappin'!
