Project 12 - All Caught Up

After a very busy April, I somehow had no time in May to get my Project 12 layout done for April. So I didn't get it posted by the May 20th deadline, but I finally finished it this weekend. Don't you LOVE the October Afternoon papers. So fresh, bright and clean. They were perfect for this page.

I also managed to get my May layout done too this weekend (thanks to dh being out at his ball games). And I used RAW chipboard. That's right, I didn't ink it, mist it, or cover it with paper. And you know what? I love it like this. Reminds me of the driftwood on the beach in Lang Bay, it reminds me to keep it simple, and I love how it just blends with the cardstock, yet gives a bit of dimension and shadow. And I'm lovin' how perfect the MamaRazzi line from Bo Bunny is with beach photos. (oh and did you know you can get a closer look of the layouts by clicking on them...give it a try).

If you don't know about Project 12, you can read about it over on the Scrapbook and Cards Today blog by clicking here. I am really enjoying capturing our lives in photos a month at a time. The sketches from Becky Fleck or so easy to work with, simple and clean looking. I hope they do a similar project next year too because this has been easy to commit to while still leaving tons of time for other projects.

Kuddos to you for getting caught up! That's so hard to do once you get behind.

I think the raw chipboard totally works for your June layout. Nicely done!

Good for you for getting caught up -- that's what I love about P12 -- if you fall behind you CAN get caught up!Both of the Layouts are just great!
