to tell you that she checks your blog every day, that she still hasn't seen pics of the kids in their Halloween costumes and that she is in withdrawal, it's hard not to do something about it.
My computer has been dead for about a week, which means that I haven't had access to my photos, now that doesn't explain the months of no posts, but it does explain why this post is extra special. Thanks to my IT dept (aka our buddy Dave), I've learned that you can run your computer without your hard drive (I may have this all wrong, but I think that's what I'm doing). I'm using some program called Ubuntu (which might just be an African word for cheating), but I like it. I've been able to check e-mail throughout the day, send people our wish lists, check on Facebook and now I'm hoping update my blog.
So finally, on the eve of December 1st, here are the kids Halloween pics!
Tess dressed up as a witch for her preschool and a neighbour's party, but a yadybud (ladybug) for trick or treating.
Morgan was a Ninja this year. We laughed when he chose a ninja costume because Doug and I call him the sleep ninja. We'll wake up some mornings and he's in our bed with us. We have no idea when he joins us and he just sneaks right in and is discovered in the morning.
Here are the kids about to head off trick or treating...it was a great night for trick or treating. The rain that was supposed to fall didn't, the streets were packed with kids and the kids ran into friends from school and the neighbourhood all evening. They got so much loot, they are still eating it.
I'll work on catching up on pumpkin patch trips and soccer photos and anything else I can access while I'm waiting for a new hard drive.
