How exactly does this happen? I started shopping in November, was way on top of things, then I wake up this morning and the kids eat their advent and jump around saying, "Only 5 more sleeps 'til Christmas!" WHAT? 5 more sleeps. But I haven't written my Christmas cards or the Christmas letter, the baking isn't done, the house is a mess with wrapping, and there is still more wrapping to do. I even have a wee bit of gifts still to finish. YIKES!
So from being on top of things to feeling the stress of the season over one night....quite the ride. Well, I'm letting it go. I have 7 Christmas cards made by me ready to go. Those will go to those I've received cards from already, I'll write the letter and post it here and e-mail it to others, and the baking (well maybe we'll stop at what we have) and anyone who matters if my house is a mess, you aren't welcome to stop by, but if you can crash on a couch in a house full of love, good food and company, you are welcome to come by, enjoy a glass of wine and some laughs. And I hope that you do.
Oh and PS...to the anonymous commenter from my last post regarding my nurse. I suspect you are a troll, if you aren't, feel free to phone or e-mail me directly, I'd love to hear why you don't see it. I know it's right and that I'll rock it.

i still haven't finished getting ready yet either, but it should all be about the people and the love and the hugs and the friendship and not the "martha stewart perfect christmas" ... oh and you last post, dont know how i missed that ... i think you are making a great move ... I wish you loads of success and anyone who gets you as a delivery nurse will be lucky beyond belief!
