I hear a "MOM!" from Tess as she's using the toilet (she often has her most profound thoughts there).

Me: "Yes Tess?"
Tess: "I wonder why they call 'cowboys' cowboys ..."

I sit here thinking she's about to have a feminist moment.

Tess: " ... when they have horses too?"
Me: "That's a good question darlin'."
